Stars at 23rd annual Australian Commercial Radio Awards


Many of Australia’s best-known radio stars and presenters will gather on the Gold Coast on Saturday night for the announcement of the annual gongs for the commercial radio industry - the 23rd annual Australian Commercial Radio Awards.

What:  Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs)

Date:  Saturday October 15

Time:  5.30 pm (for red carpet start at 6.30pm). Show begins at 7.00pm.

Hall of Fame to be announced at 7.30pm

Place:  Pavilion, Jupiters, Gold Coast 

Presenters include: Renowned US Emmy Award winning actor, Kelsey Grammer will co-host with WSFM 101.7, Sydney breakfast announcer, Amanda Keller.
Other presenters include Kyle and Jackie O; Nova’s new breakfast team, Fitzy and Wippa (Ryan Fitzgerald and Michael Wipfli), Hot Tomato’s Holmesy and Flan (Paul Holmes and Sean Flanagan), Brisbane’s 97.3 fm Robin, Terry & Bob,(Robin Baily, Terry Hanson and Bob Gallagher), 3AW’s Neil Mitchell and Olympian, Grant Hackett.

Entertainment: Australian songstress, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, will perform her new single, “All We Have”.   Singer, Stan Walker will perform his hit single, “Light It Up” and well-known, Australian group, Sneaky Sound System, will perform several songs from their new album. Also performing at the ACRAs will be one of the winners of this year’s New Artist 2 Radio (NA2R) showcase, the commercial radio industry’s competition to discover unsigned, independent music artists for commercial radio. The performance will be decided between Gold Coast band, Nine Sons of Dan and Sydney-based pop singer, Danielle Blakey.
