Esperance radio ratings released

Radio ratings will be released today for the first time for the town of Esperance in the southeast corner of Western Australia.

Triple M Esperance and Hit FM Esperance are the commercial radio stations serving the community.

Esperance is supported by agriculture and tourism, with visitors attracted to its spectacular white sand beaches and national parks.

The research was conducted by Xtra Insights, the industry’s official provider of regional radio surveys.

The results will be available from 10am AEDT on the Radio It’s A Love Thing website.

Esperance is one of more than 30 regional areas that will be surveyed during 2017, as the industry focuses on measuring radio audiences across the country.

Surveys for two other West Australian regions, the Wheatbelt and Mandurah, were released earlier this month.
