Ballarat survey released

Ballarat’s most listened-to radio stations will be revealed today when radio ratings are released as part of an industry initiative to measure radio audiences across regional Australia.
The two commercial radio stations in Ballarat, Victoria’s largest inland city are 103.1 POWER FM and 3BA 102.3FM.
Joan Warner, chief executive officer of industry body Commercial Radio Australia said: “Local commercial radio stations in regional Australia are an important part of the community and these surveys show the listener support.”
The Ballarat survey is one of more than 40 regional radio surveys that will be conducted across Australia this year.
The research was conducted by Xtra Insights from 24 April – 13 May. The results will be available at 10am AEST Tuesday 23 May on the Radio It’s A Love Thing website.
Commercial Radio Australia has released radio surveys for Launceston, Emerald, Dubbo, Mandurah, Wheatbelt, Esperance, Kingaroy, Mount Isa and Roma this year.
The next market to release ratings results will be Port Macquarie/Kempsey in New South Wales.
Data from all the regional surveys is available to media agencies online through the Frequency Regional Radio ratings analyser tool.
