Second radio survey for Bundaberg

Radio ratings will be released today for the Queensland city of Bundaberg, with competition for audiences heating up since the last survey was released a year ago.
The commercial radio stations serving the community are Hitz939, 4BU and 93.1 Sea FM Bundaberg.
The 2016 survey was the first ever for Bundaberg and the latest research will show how listening patterns have changed over the past 12 months.
The survey was conducted by Xtra Insights from 5-24 June with a sample size of 1,000 participants.
Industry body Commercial Radio Australia introduced a new system for regional radio ratings which allowed smaller radio markets to undertake more regular, reliable and cost-effective audience measurement.
The survey results will be released at 10am AEST and published on the Radio It’s A Love Thing website.
Bundaberg is the 16th regional survey to be released in 2017 following Albury, Cairns, Coffs Harbour, Mackay, Port Macquarie/Kempsey, Ballarat, Launceston, Emerald, Dubbo, Mandurah, Wheatbelt, Esperance, Kingaroy, Mount Isa and Roma.
The next regional radio survey will be in Albany.
Data from all the regional surveys is available to media agencies online through the Frequency Regional Radio ratings analyser tool.
