Kalgoorlie radio ratings

Radio ratings for the mining city of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia will be released today. Local stations Hit 97.9 Kalgoorlie and Triple M Goldfields will compare today’s results with the first radio survey conducted in the area released in May 2016.
“Regional radio listeners are very loyal to their local stations and the Kalgoorlie survey is part of the move by Commercial Radio Australia and broadcasters to make regional radio more competitive for local and national advertisers,” said Joan Warner, CEO of industry body Commercial Radio Australia.
The survey was conducted by Xtra Insights from 19 June – 8 July with a sample size of 600 participants.
The survey results will be released at 10am AEST and published on the Radio It’s A Love Thing website.
Kalgoorlie is the 18th regional survey to be released in 2017 following Albany, Bundaberg, Albury, Cairns, Coffs Harbour, Mackay, Port Macquarie/Kempsey, Ballarat, Launceston, Emerald, Dubbo, Mandurah, Wheatbelt, Esperance, Kingaroy, Mount Isa and Roma.
The next regional radio survey will be in Maryborough (Qld) followed by the Sunshine Coast (Qld).
Data from all the regional surveys is available to media agencies online through the Frequency Regional Radio ratings analyser tool.
