The Quarter of the Century Club is a unique and committed group of Broadcasters that have been nominated and honored for their and dedication after 25 years or more in the radio industry in Australia.
Nominations for Membership of the Quarter Century Club should be made in writing setting out the actual dates of employment and the stations involved. It should be signed by the Station Manager and forwarded to Commercial Radio Australia, Level 5, 88 Foveaux Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010 or by email to mail@commercialradio.com.au
The nominee must have been engaged as a staff member or working executive of an Australian commercial broadcasting station for a total period of at least 25 years.
War service may be counted in the period, provided the nominee was working for a commercial radio station immediately before the commencement of war service.
Time spent on the staff of a radio programming or servicing organisation, which is not owned or controlled by a licensed broadcasting station or stations, cannot be counted towards the qualifying period.
Directors of licensee companies qualify only if they have had a full time executive function in the operation of a station.
