Bachelor of Communication (Commercial Radio) - Charles Sturt University

A three year degree course taught from CSU's Bathurst campus, the Bachelor of Communication (Commercial Radio) is designed to educate and train students who want to start a career in promotional and communication roles within the commercial radio industry. It prepares the future sales representatives, promotions managers and copywriters of the industry.

The emphasis of the course is on radio as a marketing medium so students undertake subjects in marketing, advertising, sales, promotions management, and commercial radio industry studies. Graduates will understand the role of marketing and audience research, the creative and planning elements of radio advertising, and the sales and promotions functions of commercial radio practitioners.

Commercial Radio Australia is working very closely with Charles Sturt University to develop a course that meets the needs of the commercial radio industry.
