RadioMATRIX is the commercial radio industry’s new industry-wide media briefing solution, providing a simplified process for planning and buying radio advertising. The world-first initiative promotes real-time collaboration between broadcasters and media buyers and is currently in use by 370 radio stations and 210 media agencies nationally.
The briefing portal, the first module to be rolled out, allows media agencies to log in and brief multiple radio stations at once using a single, cloud-based platform. The standardisation of the briefing process enables media agencies to brief stations across the whole radio ecosystem in one location – broadcast, radio streaming, podcasting, and more.
Work is currently underway to streamline the latter stages of the buying process and to extend the platform to large direct advertisers and smaller agencies. The improved simplicity, efficiency and effectiveness that RadioMATRIX will deliver is expected to optimise radio ad spend and campaign performance.
