GfK and Commercial Radio & Audio have released a category report on Business Decision Maker listeners, an influential segment who spend more than 12.5 hours listening to commercial radio every week. Commercial radio reaches a high proportion of these listeners and is one of the most effective mediums to target them.
This report provides media agencies and radio sales teams an overview of some of the additional survey data available to them via Gold Standard software.
Key insights include:
- Commercial radio reaches 1.9 million or 78% of Business Decision Makers across the five major metropolitan markets each week
- 2 in 3 Business Decision Maker listeners are Managers and Professionals and 84% have a higher education
- Business Decision Maker listeners are more likely than commercial radio listeners 18+ to have a high household income and weekly grocery spend
