Self-Employed
GfK and Commercial Radio & Audio have released a category report on the Self-Employed market. Commercial radio reaches a high proportion of Self-Employed listeners in both white and blue collar industries who have high household incomes and propensity to invest. Self-Employed listeners spend up to 21 hours listening to commercial radio every week, making radio the perfect choice to reach these decision makers.
This report provides media agencies and radio sales teams an overview of some of the additional survey data available to them via Gold Standard software.
Key insights include:
- 73% of Self-Employed Australians tune into commercial radio across five major metropolitan markets each week
- The best time to reach Self-Employed listeners on radio is between 7-10am and 2-4pm Monday-Friday
- Self-Employed listeners are more likely than commercial radio listeners 18+ to have an investment property and a personal investment over $50K
