Grocery Buyers
This FCT survey focused on the supermarket and grocery buyer category, with over 2,100 regional radio listeners completing the survey nationally.
National key insights:
- Just over 40% of respondents are spending $101-250 per shop
- Woolworths and Coles are preferred supermarket choice for over 70% of respondents
- Almost half the respondents shop two to three times a week
- Mornings are the most popular time to shop
- Respondents outlined the top three consideraitions when choosing a place to shop are pricing, location and parking
- Respondents stated the top three specialty sections in supermarkets are in-house butchers, wine/alcohol and organic.
