This survey drew just over 1,300 responses from regional radio listeners across the country. The results provide stations and advertisers with insights into health, well-being & self improvement offerings in market.
National key insights:
- When not feeling well, the overwhelming majority of respondents will visit a private doctor’s office (70%), followed by the pharmacist (22%)
- 73% of respondents stated their priority for the next year is to exercise more while 62% are looking to lose weight
- 16% of respondents are considering joining a gym
- Massage services are highly sought after by the 18-24 year old group, with over 70% stating they are interested
- 30% of respondents stated radio is the most influential media when it comes to helping respondents chose healthcare services.
